Original artwork

Every painting offered here is an original, one-of-a-kind work created by hand in oil. Because each piece is unique, once a painting is sold it is no longer available.

Colors and images

Photographs of the paintings are made as accurately as possible, but colors may appear differently depending on your screen, and fine surface texture may not be fully visible in a photograph. Slight variation between the image and the physical painting is normal and is not considered a defect.

Prices and payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed securely by a third-party payment processor; your full card details are never stored on this site. An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully completed.

Sales tax

Applicable Pennsylvania sales tax is calculated and added at checkout for orders shipping within Pennsylvania.

Shipping

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and is calculated at checkout. Local pickup may be arranged at no cost. Larger works may require special handling; for those pieces, please contact the artist for a shipping quote before purchase. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise agreed.

Returns

Because each painting is an original work, all sales are final. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, please contact the artist within 7 days of delivery with photographs, and we will work with you to resolve it.

Commissions

Commissioned work is arranged directly with the artist. A deposit of 50% is required before work begins and is non-refundable, as each commission is created specifically for you; the remaining balance is due before delivery. Commissions are painted from photographs, and portrait commissions are currently limited to the Pittsburgh area so the artist can take source photographs in suitable natural light. By submitting photographs you confirm you have the right to do so.

Copyright

All artwork, images, and text on this site are the property of Jane Lucchino and are protected by copyright. Purchasing a painting transfers ownership of the physical work only — the artist retains all reproduction and copyright interests, including the right to photograph and display the work. Images from this site may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

Privacy

All information we collect through the site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the site, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may revise and update these terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective when posted and apply to all access to and use of the site and all orders placed thereafter. Your continued use of the site, or placing an order after changes are posted, means you accept the changes. We encourage you to review these terms each time you use the site.

Governing law and venue

All matters relating to the site, these terms, and any purchase of artwork, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or any purchase shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, or in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of, and venue in, those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
